Dallas, TX, United States : Cafe Izmir is my go-to Mediterranean restaurant in Dallas. Tuesdays and Thursday they have $15 bottles of good quality wine and sangria and discounted tapas. It's a great way to enjoy a delicious dinner and not break the bank. They have some of the most flavorful hummus you have ever tried (you will probably want to get a couple of orders if you're with a group of 4 or more.) I also love their Ziziki dip- I put it on everything! Their grilled veggies are perfectly seasoned and come with a huge variety: broccoli, mushrooms, onions, zucchini, you name it. My favorite proteins are the beef tenderloin kabob and the grilled shrimp. And they keep the warm pita bread coming. I had dinner last weeks with 12 other girlfriends and we all took advantage of their delicious sangria special. The food here is amazing and the service mirrors that. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and funny. Marcello is the master bartender and host.

Hawley, PA, United States : Woodloch Pines Resort is an experience waiting to happen. The grounds are well manicured in case you want grass between your toes. Staff is friendly and charismatic; very detailed with providing quality service. There is so much to do: art classes, food and wine classes, drum circle, horse riding and themed performances; you name it you can do it. The staff will go far and beyond to cater to whatever your desire may be. Food is beyond excellent and in abundance. By the time you go home you'll need a vacation from the vacation. This was a great place for our family reunion; the package price was very yielding for our budget.

Boulder, CO, United States : Box Car Coffee Roasters Boulder is a coffee place with fine meats and cheeses, wine and chocolates. What a great combination! Knowledgeable baristas, great menu, and excellent coffee. We enjoyed espresso and espresso drinks. Boxcar definitely knows how to roast and brew coffee. Best coffee in Boulder

Leavenworth, WA, United States : Innsbrucker Inn is more than a bed & breakfast, it's more like a supersized bookstore for a slumber party in the middle of a Bavarian village. Each room is decorated with a special literary theme like the Shakespeare Suite, Wine Suite and Chocolate Suite; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ring a bell. Rooms are stocked with books, but there is a television available in each room. The rooms are clean and include a coffee machine with supplies. The Chocolate Suite has a kitchenette and private bathroom with a shower and tub. The walls are decorated with phrases and characters from the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory accompanied by the book.

Washington, DC, United States : Restaurant CityZen Washington DC accomplished an impressive achievement that seems to beguile many well-hyped DC top trip restaurants in not only living up to the hype, but beyond expectations. The management of this restaurant is highly appreciable. We entered the restaurant at the end of the evening. We could see the entire staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and on top of things. We were seated near the dazzling open kitchen and in what is often a rarity for big name restaurants, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that Chef Ziebold was in the kitchen, managing the whole operation. After onoy a few minutes our waiter took our order and we were served in less than 20 minutes, which seemed to be incredibly fast for how busy they were. I have tried many restaurants but this is among my favorites. Highlights of the evening included delicious lamb carbonara, chilled Maine lobster salad, and my favorite, soft shell crab. We also enjoyed the wines that were served and the addictive parker house rolls.

New York, NY, United States : Le Cirque, amazing! If you love food, you'll love everything about this place. I came here with my friends and we had the four course tasting menu. If one person wants to get it, the whole table gets the tasting menu. The whole place is implacable and elegant. The main dining room is circular which is very pretty. The branding of the plates, napkins, and overall decor was charismatic. The service was excellent. We all had our own orders of veggies and when they plated our food, we were ready for an adventure. It was tremendously amazing. Every bite you take melted in your mouth. Extremely delicious and every bite was pure heaven and we didn't leave a single piece behind. Finally we wrapped that up and moved on to dessert. In le Cirque, everything was great. The whole meal was amazing, from start to finish, and I am seriously still dreaming of this meal.

Portland, OR, United States : To start definitely make reservations, Ave Genes is so good even on a Monday it is very busy. Probably because of all the media attention and "top Ten" lists it has been on. When arrived we were seated promptly and offered still or sparkling water complimentary. I picked the sparkling, which was a nice touch. The beet salad was delicious, I loved the hazelnuts on it. For the main entree I had the cavetelli (probably spelled wrong) which was a freshly made pasta in the shape of a small penne noodle. I ate almost the whole it was so good before I remembered to take a picture. The server was very helpful at helping me decipher the menu, main course and the wine list. You will understand when you try this place. This is a must try place in Portland, I want seconds please.

The Getty, Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA, United States : Not only do you need multiple days to see everything here, but everything is so beautiful that you have to take a million pictures! Unfortunately, not all the exhibits allow photography, but the gardens are extremely gorgeous and make for beautiful pictures. There is also a five star restaurant in the Getty that I highly recommend everyone eat at! They also have amazing wines at this restaurant that is paired with every dish and the waiters can also give excellent recommendations. I think this is one of the best museums in town. It is truly a beautiful experience.

A girlfriend booked this Mint Julep Tours as part of a Bachelorette Party. We had a great time and toured Woodford Reserve, Four Roses and Buffalo trace. Our guide was awesome and the tastings were lots of fun. You can do the Bourbon Trail without a tour company but it was nice to have a driver!

Vampire Lounge and Tasting Room, Beverly Hills CA, USA : Vampire Lounge and Tasting Room is such a cozy lounge with really friendly bartenders! They have three levels of drinks vampire, Dracula and one other with each level up increasing in quality. The person I was with agreed with me that the vampire level was great! It is a small place but there are a ton of large mirrors hanging on the wall which makes the place feel much more spacious than it is while keeping the place super cozy and comfortable. I was not sure if I should come here because of the name but they have a lot of award winning wines, so, it was worth it and I do not regret it.

New York, NY, United States : In Le Bernardin i had a truly superb dinner during my recent visit to New York. We go there for the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. Each dish we tasted was perfectly prepared and I truly enjoyed every single one - a rarity for tasting menus. The langoustine was a standout in particular; the flavor of the truffles and the aged balsamic sauce was a wonderful combination. Most of the wine pairings were white wines as you'd expect for a seafood-oriented restaurant, but a few creative pairings, such as a Japanese sake with the king fish/caviar, worked surprisingly well and were an interesting and refreshing departure from traditional all-wine pairings. Service was impeccable, of course - polished and friendly yet neither overbearing nor overly stuffy. Overall, it was an amazing dinner and I would even rank it higher than The French Laundry. While there were some courses at TFL that really stood out above the others, I felt that the overall experience at Le Bernardin was awesome.

Napa, CA, United States : Carneros Inn Napa Valley has Impeccable services, charming cottage beautiful ground, worth seeing the best view of sun set and sun rise. It’s a resort of comfortable, relaxing and classy establishment. We spent our weekend with two other couples or friends who have never been to Napa. Services and restaurant food are good too. The cottage offer luxury accommodation with private and discreet outside court yard, equipped with gas heating outside shower and bathtub. Napa Valley, Napa County, CA, United States : I am still basking in the afterglow of a perfect stay at Auberge Du Soleil Resort Napa Valley. Truly a five star experience, the resort is perched high up on the hill in Napa Valley offering stunning views of wine country from its famed Michelin star rated restaurant and guest room. My room had a view of the valley (incredible) but my friends had an outdoor tub and shower instead. Both were dramatic, modern and full of attentive details that made for a memorable stay. Services were impeccable and the food at the terrace restaurant was amazing. I had an Asian Shrimp Salad for lunch and couldn't get sufficient of it. Paired with the glass of white wine. An excellent place to dine in the region. The patio offers stunning views with cool breeze and intimate tables that aren't crammed in. There are some great vegetarian options. Absolutely, it is a beautiful resort a great view, exquisite rooms, nice meeting space and a fabulous restaurant. This resort is perfect for a girls trip- just perfect!

Napa Valley, Napa County, CA, United States : Aubergine Restaurant is what a darling place. This restaurant deserves a drive down to Carmel by the sea just because of this bite. The food is incredible. Much of the ingredients are locally sourced. Flavor shine clearly through the presentation and like a symphony are present in different ways in various movement of the piece. The wine that was served to us was just perfect. It was wonderful night and we would go back again. Best food I have ever had! Had the delicious menu and was puff away! Services was excellent loved the oyster and caviar. The chef use of seasonal ingredients was spot on, flavor amazing, ambience fantastic, just great establishment all around. The ambiance kind of reminds me of a modern French laundry. This is cozy small restaurant with an upscale classy decor. I loved the unique artistic, creative and natural distinctness of the menu. I just can’t explain how blown away I was by each dish, that was presented to me.

Napa, CA, United States : Calistoga Ranch Napa Valley I couldn't find the words, I mean there are only so many ways you can call something incredible or perfect or mind blowing amazing, the Calistoga Ranch experience being all of these things. From check in to check out every person I met at the resort delivered five star services that was genuine, attentive and unobtrusive. After being offered a glass of wine while checking in, I was shuttled via golf cart to my room, which was actually a private twin room cabin style lodging that is a definition of glamping. Casual but elegant and tucked away into a quiet solitude of nature my room had an L-shaped deck with a private hot tub to the left and an outdoor living area to the right, complete an indoor/ outdoor fireplace and dining area if you prefer eating outside. Walking into the double doors on the left took me into the bedroom and bathroom, where I discovered the first surprise an outdoor rainfall shower. Wow! That was an excellent experience.

Nolita, Manhattan, NYC : Before even taking a look at the menu of Pearl and Ash, the music (from pop oldies to Rolling Stones), friendly staff, and dim lighting made me happy to have found such a place to take refuge from the frigid temperatures outside. While I was meeting girlfriends for dinner, we all commented that it would make a great date spot - cozy but at the same time loud and not too intimate. The wine list is massive (as a heads up, expect to pay somewhere in the $15 - $20 range for a glass.) The server advised us that everything on the menu was "designed to share," and that 2 people should order 6 - 8 items, which we did. Of everything we ordered, the scallop crudo stole the show - we both even remarked that it reminded of us of key lime pie - but the squash with boar's bacon wasn't far behind.

Distinctively cool little place in a tiny strip mall. Whining Pig in Scottsdale is a bar covered in shellac'd pennies, chalkboard wine and beer lists covering the walls, tight seating but not so tight we couldn't find two empty stools right at the end of the bar. Jovial server/owner "Greg", a great playlist, and Trivial Pursuit card boxes, plus random Valentine's candies, really made our experience stellar.

Inn on the Alameda is just perfect. Beautifully detailed Southwestern décor. Many rooms have balconies and fireplaces. It is located within walking distance to most things. Your stay includes an over the top breakfast buffet with organic and gluten-free choices and there is also an afternoon wine-and-cheese reception which was nice. We did not eat at the onsite restaurant but their menu boasted local organic foods. And there are no hidden resort fees!

Capitol Hill, Seattle : The owners of Vino Verite Seattle, Haj and Dave are a god-send to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. With free wine tasting from 6-8 every Thursday [and a bottle open every day to stop by and taste], I have been unbelievably impressed with the following: 1. I always go girlfriends, and every.single.time we go, we are remembered by name. My gfriend is an artist, and Haj is especially supportive and interested in the local art scene, encouraging my friend to get her website published and wanting to see her work! Now that's what I call local. 2. They are incredibly supportive and encouraging about wine education - with zero pretension 3. I get a personal email every week describing what will be served at the upcoming tasting.. 4. 4. Ridiculous selection of wine - and many that I can actually buy with prices ranging from $8-...well, a lot. Go to the tastings - but back away from the counter-left. That's my spot :)

Palominos, Westwood CA, USA : I’m sure that this is a chain, but if you have not been here at Palominos, you should definitely try the Monday night happy hour! This is when you can get the best deals on their high priced wines. I would not suggest going in a big group unless you have a reservation, as this is a small place and might not be able to accommodate you. They also have a great Sunday brunch, which I highly recommend. If you do not know what to order, you can describe a taste you would like and the waiters are so knowledgeable that they can give you a list or even tastings.

Grand Traverse County, MI, United States : We had a truly enjoyable stay. Grand Traverse Resort and Spa was another new and beautiful part of our country for us to visit and we were surprised with the amount of activities (wineries, beach hikes) and historical sites to do, take in, and enjoy as well as a very relaxing stay at the resort, which is well laid out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, inviting, and spacious, allowing for conversation. Our room was roomy, comfortable and quiet. We will return to enjoy the area, hotel, and spa!

Ninethirty, Westwood CA, USA : Ninethirty restaurant is definitely Westwood’s best kept secret! It is inside the W hotel so a lot of people don’t realize it is there. They also have a backyard version where you can sit by the pool and drink, or even rent out one of the cabanas for unlimited bottle service. It is a five star restaurant but a good deal for the stuff they offer! Its also one of the best happy hours I've ever been to. Be sure to try their wines; sometimes they offer free tastings of $100 a glass wines! They also have a “reward” card for a discount!

Napa, CA, United States : Bardessono Napa Valley is a stunning hotel. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is incredibly friendly, and Lucy’s has good food. Dim light make the environment cool and romantic. We had the perfect dinner at Bouley. All the dishes were delicious and refined. The food was simple yet innovative. Everything was great. N9NE Steakhouse. Las Vegas NV, USA : N9NE Steakhouse is a great place! It is a high-end steakhouse with great wines and a great beginning to a great night! They do not require a dress code either so you do not have to worry about that. They are very accommodating to everyone and they have spectacular renovated decor. My fiancé took me here for a romantic dinner and it was perfect! I would define their food as melt-in-your-mouth perfection! Their exceptional service just put the icing on the cake. Nashville, TN, United States : Nashville, Tennessee: We went to Rumours East Wine Bar because it was voted best wine bar in Nashville. There’s a laid back atmosphere so it is not intimidating at all. Happy hour is from 4-7 for the best drink prices. Great craft beer selection as well, most of which we had never heard of before. Great place.

Cuyahoga valley park is completely dazzling! If you are a first time visitor, you should first enjoy the hiking along the ledges or enjoying a picnic in the unique Octagon sanctuary house. Or even at the beautiful Ledges shelter house Here you can enjoy the warmth of fireplace .The park is always clean and the staff are super friendly! Even the bathrooms are always kept clean! And there's other sections worth exploring as well. They offer a great hill for sledding with a barrel for a fire that anyone can enjoy. There's also a bat cave. And of course, lots of art related projects, guided tours, etc... The only national park in the Buckeye State is elegant and attractive is only a stone's throw from Cleveland and Akron . Then there's lesser known treasures within the park, such as wineries and farms, as well as the only covered bridge in Summit County. If you swerve off of the Towpath, you won't be disappointed.

New York, NY, United States : Jean Georges New York City is probably the best place I have been. Everything here was worth every penny. The services and presentation was highly appreciable. The white themed rooms revealed natural light elegantly, and the chandelier in the main dining room was awesome. The service came out to be likewise beautiful. The waiter serves food, remove plates, and set apparatus all in harmony, which makes the whole meal feel like an elaborate dance. I loved the food it was fabulous. I ordered from the taste of spring menu. There were three fantastic tasting and superbly presented courses, with four wonderful surprise courses from amuses to petite fours. Their advice as to which courses was lighter fare and which were heavier was helpful so that I could better gauge what I wanted to order. The courses themselves were stunning in both taste and presentation. The tuna appetizer was a highlight. Loved the dining experience.

Scottsdale, AZ, United States : If you want authentic Japanese fine cuisine that goes beyond mere sushi, Shinbay Scottsdale is one of the best places you'll find. Adventurous food for foodies, however very pricey

Asheville, North Carolina, United States : A trip to Biltmore Estate Winery, North Carolina found me wishing my sisters were with me as my tastebuds explored every wine imaginable. A tour and wine tasting is around $50, but bring along a pair of comfortable shoes for the 250 room tour, if you’re up for the challenge. The estate used to be a dairy barn but transformed into a luxury winery and vineyard with a huge, lush colorful garden. I could sit within the petals all day sipping glass after glass of vino. But I didn’t fill up on wine because delectable nibbles were prepared for dinner service. The drive to the estate is kind of lengthy, however transport buses are available at specific locations for pickup. Some hotels offer the tour as part of their package especially for groups.

Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort Solvang, CA : Girls at the Grill for girl grilling fun, a weekend stay at the Alisal Ranch & Resort with the BBQ Bootcamp package is a great choice for barbecue connoisseurs who want to cook and eat. There’s a beautiful spa with options such as a de-stress massage, margarita body scrub and oxygen facial. Breakfast is served with a horseback or hay ride, history and a delicious array of foods. But don’t leave without taking a stroll through the lush vineyard and sipping the vast variety of wines.

Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV, USA : Il Mulino New York in Caesars Palace Forum Shops has got to be one of my favorite fine dining places in Las Vegas. Il Mulino really can roll out the red carpet and make you feel like a complete celebrity. Not only do they have great service but, the food itself is to absolutely die for. Last visit, we shared ravioli and lasagna followed by dessert. They also have quite the extensive Italian wine list. It was impressive and I am sort of a wine snob, so I know how important great wine can be. I was very pleased with their selection of wines. All in all I always recommend Il Mulino because it is just so fantastic.

Charleston, SC, United States : From arrival to departure the Zero George Street Boutique Hotel had us hooked. Located far enough from busy Charleston for a peaceful and tranquil stay, but close enough to get to within minutes; not to mention a request for transportation can be arranged. It’s a beautiful time warp with all the amenities of modern day necessity. Everything was so elegant and formal without the usual stuffiness: drinks on the verandah, a 5pm wine and cheese hour, little treats left nightly and all the charm of a European trip. The staff was incredible, suggesting sights to see and always checking if needs were met. The food was worth giving up dieting rules to enjoy the daily complimentary breakfast. Well worth the cost; warrant for another visit.

New York, NY, United States : I had my bridal shower here this past weekend, and it was UNREAL. I walked in and was totally blown away. The setting at Casellula Manhattan was absolutely perfect for a Parisian/French shower. Cute, classy, perfect size. We were a group of about 16 women and the restaurant accommodated us perfectly for a few apps and drinks prior to a wine and cheese tasting and a hearty lunch along with a game and presents. Seriously...so much amazing food. Faves were Pepedew peppers stuffed with mozz and wrapped in prosciutto, endive salad, pigs ass sandwich, Mac and cheese, and they even threw in some free dessert truffle bite nut things for free (amazing). Plus, the wine and cheese tasting had a ton of awesome cheese accompaniments as well. It was the PERFECT way to kick off my wedding season, and I will never forget the day. Thank you Casellula!!

It become more interactive and keep in mind that is purely a molecular astronomy experience. The service here was absolutely impeccable. The staffs were never condescending, exceptionally helpful and truly fun to speak with. What makes this place so different from Pre se, French laundry and all the other Michelin starred restaurant is that they're inventive and very playful with their courses without being strange, eh-tasting or too gastro. The platting is fun and although the service is relaxed. You entered a purple/ pink-lit hallway and then a door slide open to welcome you to restaurant. We were seated upstairs and there we noticed a leaf seemingly floating above us. The food was incredibly unique my most favorite dish was the lobster over curry paste. Newport Beach, CA, United States : Right by the Mutt Lynchs Newport Beach Boardwalk is always busy, so come early if you want a seat. The best seats are up to the windows that open to the beach outside with people walking by on the boardwalk. Beer and wine only at Mutt's but they have a huge selection of beer and the food is good for a bar. But you come to Mutt's for the energy and atmosphere. On Wed (I think it's Wed) nights they have a group of runners who run on the beach and then have beer afterward. West Village, Manhattan, NYC : I think I'm in love. Really it was meant to be - this bar combines so many of my favorite things: Hudson Street, good wine, a charmingly quirky staff, a warm atmosphere, brilliantly subtle decor - a stately oval bar, translucent leaf lampshades, wrought iron filigree - good food, it was a match made in heaven. Because Lelabar have such a wide selection of wine, cheese, meat, and small plates, just trust the bartender/chef to pick something out for you. Get to know the bartenders! Chris, Heather, John, Naveen are all great. I tried a sharp sheep's milk cheese, tasso ham and wild boar salami- awesome. Mixing it up wine-wise, I had a delicious sparkling rose. Do yourself a favor and try their fresh, handmade CHOCOLATES. You'll never go back to your friends Ghiradelli or Godiva ever again. I dream about the cashew caramel turtle with sea salt!

Napa Valley, Napa County, CA, United States : In Spa at Bardessono Yountville me and my girlfriends stayed for my birthday last weekend, and we treated ourselves to massage. My masseuse was named Sandra and I swear I never felt so relaxed and so pampered. Seriously expert techniques, complete understanding of what we were looking for. I compare the massage that I had at Bardessono on Friday with a massage I had at ideal spring on Saturday and it was like two different worlds. I almost desired another Sandra massage to remove the ugliness of the Indian Spring massage. Have an amazing spa experience. Splurge and get the enhanced facial. My esthetician was Olivia and she was so good. Lots of pressure point massage, and what seemed like a million different good fragrance masks and serums were used. I felt extremely relaxed. The duration of 90 minutes went by rapidly then I floated back to the lounge area. We'll be coming here again on our next trip to Napa.

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons is a former mental hospital with beautiful architecture that has been converted into a mall. It’s really cool that this place was saved and made into something useful and cool. There are some shops, a few restaurants, and a winery where you can do tastings. We visited Left Foot Charley winery and had a good time talking, trying wines and eating yummy cheese. I would recommend the winery if you are in the area.

Stay for a while at Wine Cellar and Tasting Room at Rio and relax on their comfy couches and order some cheese or other delicious snacks to go with your wine of choice. They have more than 100 wines by the glass, and we definitely tried a lot of them. It was a relaxing, enjoyable day to say the least and the room itself was gorgeous! :)
