Dallas, TX, United States : Spiral Diner Bakery is a 100% vegan and mostly organic restaurant with a yummy menu of healthy food. Every meal is made fresh to order to accommodate for taste preferences or allergies. And of course, everything is 100% vegan. They have wraps, burgers (soy, portobello, cashew-quinoa), salads, soups, burritos and a lot more. Healthy and Vegan food that's good!!

Dallas, TX, United States : Cafe Izmir is my go-to Mediterranean restaurant in Dallas. Tuesdays and Thursday they have $15 bottles of good quality wine and sangria and discounted tapas. It's a great way to enjoy a delicious dinner and not break the bank. They have some of the most flavorful hummus you have ever tried (you will probably want to get a couple of orders if you're with a group of 4 or more.) I also love their Ziziki dip- I put it on everything! Their grilled veggies are perfectly seasoned and come with a huge variety: broccoli, mushrooms, onions, zucchini, you name it. My favorite proteins are the beef tenderloin kabob and the grilled shrimp. And they keep the warm pita bread coming. I had dinner last weeks with 12 other girlfriends and we all took advantage of their delicious sangria special. The food here is amazing and the service mirrors that. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and funny. Marcello is the master bartender and host.

Dallas, TX, United States : Went to Meso Maya Mexican Food for dinner with a group of 12 people for a birthday. They have complimentary valet with cordial valet guys. The place was packed but we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The chips and salsa are really good. I have no idea what is in their salsa but they obviously make it in the restaurant and it is seriously addicting. This is not your typical Tex-Mex joint style of food and quite frankly, there's far too much of that in Dallas. We ordered the Cochinita Pibil (Yucatan style braised pork), the meat was very tender and the flavor outstanding; and we tried the Budin Azteca (tortillas layered with cheese) plain and I ordered the carne asada as an accompaniment. The Budin was excellent! The margaritas are delicious; funny the skinny one had the most alcohol. The avocado one is the best, followed by the skinny. We also tried the serrano berry and the cucumber. I enjoyed the cucumber too.

Dallas, TX, United States : As a music venue, Club Dada in Dallas is hard to beat. I'm not such a fan of the hefty cover, which can go as high as $15 on some nights, but I'm never sorry to have paid it once the music starts! Dada has been, and continues to be, the cornerstone of Deep Ellum, often hosting fund-raisers for the preservation of this historic neighborhood (no small task!). The smokey air is the typical Dallas bar variety but not nearly as bad as many. Fortunately, one can quickly grab a drink and take cover on the spacious back patio area. Over 3000 square feet of tables, twinkly lights, and local art. Occasionally, shows are staged outside. Who'd have thought fire-spinners in Dallas?! Also watch for fund-raising art shows and CD release parties. Only one womens bathroom, but other than that it's awesome!

Dallas, TX, United States : Partied at Station 4 Danceclub for the first time a few weeks ago for a bachelorette party and had SO much fun. I don't remember the last time I went out and just lived. I mean really lived, partied, danced and laughed without a care in the world. All insecurities just drifted off with the music. It is so hard not to enjoy yourself here. If you want to get out and dance without the hassles of guys, you'll love S4. I've heard that it's one of the top gay clubs in the country and I would believe it- and it's not entirely a gay crowd, it is actually a pretty decent mix. The place is gigantic! It can be super packed and you won't feel it, which is great. The music is great and the technology of the place is pretty sweet. Parking pretty much blows, but that's Oak Lawn on Fri/Sat. nights. Cover is usually about $6 for 21+ and I want to say $20 for 18+ -This place is really just fun!

Dallas, TX, United States : Northpark Center Dallas Shopping has stores from Louis Vuitton and Burberry to more common stores such as AE and Hollister. There's also Nordstrom, Macy, Neiman Marcus and about 100 more stores to choose from.

Dallas, TX, United States : The Galleria has an ice rink in the middle that reminds me so much of Rockefeller Plaza & the famous shops on 5th Avenue. It also hosts a giant Christmas tree like Rockefeller plaza does at Christmas time. The Galleria Dallas Shopping becomes a gorgeous, festive inside shopping megamall during the holidays that you will certainly want to experience and be a part of, as well as any time of year! The architecture of this place is stunning with the ice skaters, playfully, cheerfully, dancing round on the ice visible from the entrance of every shop on every level as it is its center. As indulgent as it is, it's also connected to the Westin Hotel & superb Oceanaire restaurant! This entrance also has valet parking. I can always find parking in the garage near Nordstrom's, and it is a great place to pass time. Some of the stores I love are Lush, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Nine West, Teavana, and the mini MAC cosmetics, which is part of Macy's.

Dallas, TX, United States : Milk and Honey Boutique Shopping in Dallas is by far my favorite women's boutique in Dallas. I love, love, love their clothes and accessories! They have trendy casual and dressy items and their items are reasonably priced. I'd say their tops range from $40-50. And they have a decent sale in the back, so that's always plus. Easy & free parking. They're never too crowded so I feel like I can shop in peace. The staff is friendly & helpful. They've helped me pick out outfits for several different occasions, and I don't feel like they're being pushy like at many other clothing stores. They're also dressed well & trendy so I trust their judgement. :) I also love that Milk & Honey is next door to Pearl Cup Coffee so I can grab a latte & then shop. A must go if you're in Dallas.

Manchester, VT, United States : Equinox Resort and Spa is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see in the fall with over 1,300 acres of the most beautiful hills and trees imaginable. You can go for a hike, ride horses, bike, kayak, fly-fish, play tennis, attend archery school or even attend the Off-Road Driving School where you drive a Land Rover through the hills. And Equinox’s Avanyu Spa, lap pool and fitness facilities are first-rate. And if you like to golf, Gleneagles Golf Course has been named to the "best in Vermont" list by both Golf Digest and Golfweek. Truly breathtaking- what better way to get centered than to reconnect with nature?
