Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV, United States : We spent my birthday here last year and we had a great time! Planet Hollywood Resort came through with flying colors in location, service, food, room cleanliness, amenities, and room view! I loved the large soaking tub in our room and the bed was absolutely comfortable. The Bellagio fountain view from our room was perfect. There are a few places to eat, like Earls and there is also a 24 hour Starbucks on site! Located right where all of the action is! Right smack dab in the heart of the strip, across the way from the gorgeous Bellagio lake and fountain show. There are no nightclubs in PH so the location is key. One of my favorite things about PH is it's also connected to the miracle mile shops- Shopping paradise!! The pool gets crowded but the music was good and the energy was incredible.

Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV, United States : The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood include 170 stores and 15 restaurants right on the strip! They even have "people movers" if your feet are hurting and the water fountain features water shooting up to 50 feet high with lighting effects, color-changing fog and music from a surround sound system. The fountain show plays every hour on the hour, from noon - 11 p.m. Shopping is diverse, including Tommy Bahama, BCBGMAXAZRIA, American Apparel, H&M, White House/Black Market, Sunglass Hut, Lucky, Bikini Bay, Gap. ROxy, Vegas Royalty and Victoria's Secret.

Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV, United States : Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple, Sephora, New York & Company, A|X Armani Exchange, Cache, H&M and many more. Town Square Shopping in Las Vegas is an outdoor mall atmosphere and there are a lot of restaurants including the Yard House, which is always good.

Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas, NV, United States : Wynn Esplanade Shops is high end and fabulous!! Cartier, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Channel, Manolo Blahnik, Chloe, Hermes, Chopard, Oscar de la Renta, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and tons more! There is even a Ferrari dealership!

Austin, Texas, United States : The former Mansion at Judges Hill is now Hotel Ella, originally built in 1898 it was home to the wealthy Ella and Goodall Wooten. Hotel Ella in Austin is stunning! The hotel itself, the grounds and the patio are all gorgeous and the outdoor patio is just beautiful.

Austin, Texas, United States : The Driskill Hotel in Austin is beautiful and interesting; historic art, amazing ballroom, etc, but it goes way beyond that. The staff is incredibly helpful and eager to please. They let us check in early, moved us from a queen bed to a king with no issue, and after a small problem with the billing, they even left us a tin of treats in our room with a handwritten note apologizing. They have a great bar, with delicious food (queso and bacon wrapped dates were our favorites) and drinks. The rooms are a great mix of historic and modern. They have framed pictures of the hotel back when it first opened and some cool old-time furniture, but they are also kept up to date with super comfortable beds, high quality bedding, etc. Some people say it's haunted, but that just adds to the charm. Marble floors and leather wingbacks in the lobby, fine local art in the hallways, silk sheets on the beds, heavily-draped curtains and a beautiful, ornate decor. And it's close to 6th St

New York, NY, United States : The view of Roof at Park South NY skyline from the bar is amazing and it's right next to the Chrysler building. The staff was so nice and accommodating with our group. just being able to chill out on a rooftop on a PERFECT night weather wise..it was one of those nights you don't want to end. It has a very exclusive feel to it as you enter the back receiving area of a building (hotel? residential building? not sure)..no number, just an open door with a ladder with ROOF written on it..then you have to take the service elevator up... pretty cool. What I like best about this rooftop vs. others is that seating is appropriately spaced out and comfortable so you don't feel overly constrained. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cocktails here - I had a stirred scotch and elderflower drink which was quite refreshing despite the scotch.
