Tips & Hints for your Girls Getaway Trip Vacation

Make plans as a group

Use our Groups area to decide the dates and location together. Create a budget that is sensitive to all those in the group when it comes to cost.

Share the duties

Spread the duties of booking reservations at restaurants, transportation to/from the airport, etc. Our Groups area can help you plan your trip but, typically, if everyone pitches in to help, everyone enjoys the trip more.

Let each person in the group plan an activity or meal

Everyone has different tastes and preferences. Be open to stepping outside of your comfort zone and letting someone else choose an activity or restaurant. Trying new things will bring you and your girlfriends closer together.

Don’t over-schedule yourselves

You don’t want to wear yourself out while you’re on vacation. Remember to set aside time to relax. That was the purpose of your girls getaway in the first place, wasn’t it? Don’t be afraid to be spontaneous.

You don’t have to do everything together the entire time

If some in the group want to go to the pool while some want to get a massage, that’s okay! Be prepared to spend some time separately or even alone during your girls getaway. You don’t get much alone time when you’re not on vacation, so take advantage of it!

Know everyone’s emergency information

Know their emergency phone numbers, allergies, health issues, and medications. An emergency is unlikely, but it’s always better to be prepared.

Coordinate your packing It may be beneficial to designate each person to bring a specific item to share with the group such as shampoo, conditioner, a blow dryer, etc.

Take a lot of pictures to share Each of you will capture different moments. Make sure you always have your camera ready and don’t forget to share the pictures here on GrilsGetawayTrip afterward for others to see and benefit from!

Pack light

Girls getaway trips almost always include shopping, so leave some extra room in your luggage for your new purchases.

Have fun- Cheers!
